Attack in Paris: Belgian government reaction
Following the attack in Paris, Prime Minister Charles Michel has called a meeting of the College for Intelligence and Security.
The meeting will be chaired by the Prime Minister’s security advisor and attended by representatives of the Ministerial Committee for Intelligence and Security.
The current security level will be analysed at the meeting, and additional measures may be taken to ensure the security of all Belgium’s citizens and institutions.
On behalf of the Belgian government, Prime Minister Charles Michel has offered his deepest condolences to President of the French Republic François Hollande, the victims’ families and the people of France.
